Slab Leak Repaired in Westlake

Here we have located a pinhole leak below the concrete in Westlake Village. Note: You can see a small patch of concrete and several drilled holes through the concrete. This was the customers idea to try to locate the leak as they noticed water escaping the slab in that exact spot. Although you might think the leak must be where the damage is, this is frequently not the case. Sometimes the leak is at one end of the house and the damage occurs at the opposite end. Drilling holes though the concrete can potentially allow water to enter into your home even quicker as well as potentially effecting the accuracy of the leak detection technician as when listening to the ground, the area with the holes will sound louder and transmit the leak noise better than an area with no holes. We strongly recommend not attempting this to narrow down the leaks location and this could be detrimental to an accurate location, which can negatively effect the price to repair it.
